| | Yes, it's taken me nearly this long to recover from reunion weekend. The holidays were good...but different this year. Christmas Eve I spent with my grandparents and cousins...I scored a funky pair of Pink Panther socks from Susy. When I wear them, I get to do the sock dance. :) Christmas day I did the church thing and lunch thing with my grandparents and cousins, then I went to Nicolle's house and we saw "The Water Horse" It wasn't a spectacular movie, but the fact that it was about the Loch Ness monster and set in Scotland made it thoroughly enjoyable for me. Then we ate dinner, hung out and watched "National Treasure" (the first one). Then, the mad preparations for reunion started...
I had to run errands, order food (7 2-ft subs require order in advance), put gift bags together, write out cards, figure out exactly who was coming and for which days, and plan the thing. I had started doing things earlier in december, but there were the last minute schedule tweaks and New Year's eve service to do.
The weekend, overall, was great. It was loud and chaotic to the extreme, but it was so so fun. A lot of the kids that came I saw regularly anyhow (Abigail, Rob, Nicolle, Ripleys, etc) but to see everyone together was so much fun. I hardly got any sleep (of course), so spent the weekend dragging...but all is well. Since I worked almost 40 hours sun-tues, I have been basically off since then. So I've been able to clean, reorganize myself, and get some much-needed rest. Here are some pictures:

 During the white elephant, "Icky Poo" was the favored gift...here, Abigail is stealing it from Rob only to get it stolen by Lauren (Rob's gf) so he ultimately ended up with it.
